Day 1 : Heraklion – Rethymno
12:00 pm Embarkation at Heraklion Marina, depart towards Rethymno port, sailing along Crete’s northern coast. Time at leisure to explore the old town of Rethymno after dinner.
Day 2 : Rethymno
Optional tour to the medieval old town and the small Venetian harbour or to villages and Monasteries nearby. Late departure and sail through the night for Kythira.
Day 3 : Kythira
Early morning arrival at Kythira, a less known island gem now fast becoming a favourite among visitors to Greece. Evening at leisure to visit the picturesque main town of Chora and experience the subdued charms of this peaceful island. Departure late at night for Monemvassia.
Day 4 : Monemvassia – Nafplion
Morning arrival at the remarkable medieval fortified town of Monemvassia, with time at leisure to explore the uniquely preserved Byzantine and Venetian architecture and experience the beauty of the natural setting. Depart for Nafplion in the early afternoon, with a swim stop on the way. Evening arrival at Nafplion and overnight in port. The old quarter is charming, with narrow streets and characteristic period architecture. Also, impressive medieval fortifications can be seen in the port and crowning the hills above. Overnight in the port of Nafplion.
Day 5 : Mykonos
Early morning departure for Mykonos with a stop for swimming at the island of Syros. Afternoon arrival in Mykonos. Time at leisure to explore the famous island of Mykonos. Overnight at Mykonos.
Day 6 : Santorini
Early morning departure for Santorini. Afternoon arrival in Santorini (anchorage at Fira). Experience the stunning natural drama of the volcanic caldera. Optional tour to archaeological sites and typical villages with unique views over the Aegean Sea.
Day 7 : Santorini
More time to explore the magnificent scenery, charming Kykladic island architecture and Minoan remains on Santorini. Late departure and sail through the night for the island of Crete.
Day 8 : Heraklion
Arrival early morning and disembarkation after breakfast.
